  • China Power Hub Generation Company (Pvt.) Limited (CPHGC) is a joint venture company formed by CPIH and HUBCO. CPHGC is setup as the special purpose vehicle (SPV) for the development, construction and operation of 2×660 MW Coal-fired Power Plant in Hub, Balochistan (hereafter referred to CPHGC 1320MW Project or the Project). The equity proportions of CPIH and HUBCO in CPHGC are 74% and 26%, respectively.

State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) is s one of China’s top five power generators under the administration of the Chinese Government and an integrated energy group with power as its core. It is the parent company of China Power International Holding Limited (CPIH), who is the main sponsor of CPHGC 1320 MW Coal-fired Power Plant operating under the umbrella of CPEC project in Pakistan. SPIC has a total installed capacity of 117GW, including 71.46GW of thermal power, 21.6GW of hydro power, 4.48GW of nuclear power, 7.12GW of solar power, and 11.98GW of wind power, with clean energy accounting for 42.9% of the total, demonstrating a distinctive clean development feature.
